Every year we take part in a wide range of enrichment experiences for MAT Pupils. These include:
-Several pupils in year 9 successfully graduating from the Scholarship Programme run by the Brilliant Club
-Partnerships with the Dyfed Archaeological Trust and work on a range of projects with them
-Classical Civilisation, Latin, Geology and Astronomy all taught as extra qualification options for MAT pupils
-Visits to the Houses of Commons and Lords for debating and trips to the Natural History and Science Museums in London
-Linking to the Student Ambassador programme run by the Children’s Commissioner for Wales
-Involvement in the Walk the Walk global project
-Work experience
-Partnerships with Oxford and Cambridge University on a range of initiatives.
We are always looking to develop the MAT programme and the opportunities we offer change from year to year and are often based on pupil requests and interests.
